There were rumors floating around for a little while that the role of Prim might go to Elle Fanning (Dakota Fanning’s little sister) or possibly even to Chloe Moretz, who was being considered for the role of Katniss at one time, but Lionsgate decided the character of Prim would benefit from someone who didn’t have any big screen exposure.
